If you use Apple products, Hulu has a surprise for you. Later today through the Apple TV app you will be able to watch the first episode of Stephen King’s new show ‘Castle Rock.’

The show is directed by JJ Abrams and based on books by Stephen King. Fans of Stephen King will recognize “Castle Rock” as the setting in many of King’s books including The Dead ZoneCujo, and The Body. The best part is later today you can watch it on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Hulu is hoping that by giving people the first episode, it will help drive new subscribers to Hulu so they can watch the full season. Many are saying ‘Castle Rock’ will be the next big hit for Hulu just like the ‘Handmaids Tale’ was for Hulu.
