The second season of The Handmaid’s Tale will be released in April 2018.
The Handmaid’s Tale is a Hulu original show based on the 1985 novel by Margaret Atwood with the same name. In the United States it is being aired by Hulu with a new episode every Wednesday, and in Canada the show will be broadcast on Bravo.
The show is set in a dystopian near future when a totalitarian fundamentalist government rules the former United States. Women are subjugated and not allowed to work, control money, or even read. The main character is the Handmaiden played by Elisabeth Moss, and she is assigned to an elite commander and his wife.

Hulu’s Golden Globe Award wins mark the first time a streaming service has ever taken home both the Golden Globe and Emmy® Awards in the drama series category.
