Hulu is helping viewers stay connected during Election Night by enabling its Watch Party feature during tonight’s coverage.

Hulu is teaming up with ABC News Live to test the feature with on-demand only subscribers. Subscribers will be able to connect with each other via real time chat while watching the election returns come in.

Hulu’s Watch Party feature is available on the Hulu website. You can create Watch Parties with up to eight people per party. All viewers must be 18 or older to participate.

To host a Watch Party, go to a show’s details page and click on the Watch Party icon. Copy the link to the Watch Party and share it with family and friends to invite them. Each person in the party can control their own content without disrupting the viewing for the rest of the group, so go ahead pause if you need to grab a snack or use the bathroom. You can rejoin by hitting a “Click to Catch Up” button when you’re ready to jump back in.
