Hulu Will Reportedly Soon Be More Popular Than Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, & Others

This month the Wall Street analyst firm UBS explored how the TV market will look in 2023. According to UBS, Hulu will have a bigger market share than YouTube TV, Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, and even the streaming services from cable companies.

According to UBS, these are the top 7 video services by market share in 2023:

1) Hulu:  35%
2)
YouTube TV: 21%
3)
Sling TV: 14%
4)
DIRECTV NOW: 14%
5)
Cable OTT: 10%
6)
Other: 5%
7)
PlayStation Vue: 1%

Currently, Sling TV is the largest live TV streaming service with Hulu in second place. YouTube TV and DIRECTV NOW are fighting it out for the third-largest live TV streaming service.

What is interesting is the listing of PlayStation Vue with just 1% market share. This low rating clearly shows USB has little faith in PlayStation Vue even with its extremely loyal and dedicated fans.
