We are getting widespread reports of Hulu being down or having sever buffering issues. As best we can tell the outage started about an hour ago and is now becoming more widespread. Right now it seems that the outage is affecting live TV customers but the on-demand side is working without issues. The one good piece of news we can give you is the problem does not seem to be on your end.
We’re aware of an issue impacting playback — our teams are investigating and working to resolve this ASAP. We’ll keep you updated here once a resolution is in place! If you’re looking to watch live content, you may be able to tune in via https://t.co/2kpYf48lek

Hulu is telling affected customers to use the Fox Sports TV Everywhere app so they can watch the World Series if they are struggling right now. Here is the statement Hulu is sending to anyone complaining on Twitter:
Sorry for this experience! We’ve got all hands on deck working to get this behavior cleared up, and we hope to get you back to streaming soon. For now, you can use your Hulu login to stream using our network partners’ apps/sites: hulu.tv/TVEverywhere-! Thanks for your patience.
Hulu says they are looking into the issue but has no comment on why Hulu is down at this time. Cord Cutters News is reaching out to Hulu for comment and will update this story as we learn more.
