Cheerful family having popcorn while watching television at homeAll of the options for live TV streaming have their own unique benefits and choosing which one to subscribe to will depend on your personal preferences. In these posts, we compare two live TV streaming services to help you make the choice. Today, we’re taking a look at Hulu with Live TV and Sling TV.

Once again, for a fair comparison, we’re looking at the Sling Orange + Sling Blue combination.

Plans and Pricing

We’ve seen some changes with Hulu pricing in the last few months. Those changes have included lowering the price of the basic Hulu subscription with ads to just $5.99/month. For this post, we’ll be looking at Hulu with Live TV, which recently saw a price increase to $44.99/monthafter a 7 day free trial.

For a limited time, Sling is offering a deal on Sling Orange, Sling Blue, and the combo of the two. You can subscribe to either Orange or Blue for $15 each, or you can get the combination of Sling Blue and Sling Orange for $25/month. After this limited time deal, the price will go back up to $40/month for Sling Orange + Sling Blue.

Channel and Price Comparison

When you’re looking at the best value for your money, it can be helpful to break it down and look at how much you’re paying per channel.

When you subscribe to Hulu with Live TV, you’ll get 67 channels for $44.99, coming in at 67 cents per channel.

With the limited time deal, you can get 56 channels for $25 with the Sling Orange + Blue combo, bringing your total to 45 cents per channel. When the limited time offer ends, you’ll get 56 channels for $40, raising it to 71 cents per channel.

Keep in mind that channel lineups will vary slightly based on location.

Those price per channel comparisons won’t be especially helpful if the streaming service you choose doesn’t have the channels you love to watch, so we’re giving you the full list of channels for each, below.
