Are you a college student? As of today, the classical music streaming service IDAGIO is offering a student discount on their Premium subscription to US listeners. With this new discount, eligible university and college students can get a Premium subscription for half price, just $4.99/month instead of the regular $9.99.

To access the discount, students attending accredited schools in the U.S. simply need to validate their status through SheerID. Once activated, they will have full access to IDAGIO’s extensive classical music catalog, expert-curated playlists and a smart search function that allows tracks to be searched for using filters such as orchestra, soloist, instrument, artists and more. Students will also have access to exclusive releases from institutions such as the Vienna Philharmonic and the Verbier Festival Academy, as well as exclusive album releases from Ivan Krpan Debut and more.

IDAGIO has partnered with organizations such as the Curtis Institute of Music to expand its ongoing mission to invest in the early stages of artists’ professional careers.

“This partnership with IDAGIO represents an exciting opportunity for Curtis and its alumni to amplify their engagement with the global music community,” said Curtis Institute of Music President and CEO, Roberto Díaz. “As we set our sights on Curtis’s 2024 centenary year, we look forward to leveraging IDAGIO’s world-class streaming platform to celebrate the joys of classical music and share the work of Curtis musicians worldwide.”

Additionally, IDAGIO’s mission also includes connecting young listeners with leading institutions like the New World Symphony (NWS), America’s Orchestral Academy, who prepares graduates for leadership roles and has helped launch the careers of more than 1,100 alumni across the globe since it was founded 31 years ago.

“The New World Symphony believes in a strong future for classical music. We are thrilled to share its traditions with as many people as possible through this new partnership with IDAGIO,” said Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the NWS, Michael Tilson Thomas. “As the world’s leader in classical music streaming, IDAGIO will allow NWS to reach new global audiences and continue our exploration of classical music in the digital realm.”
