In an exclusive for Cord Cutters News, MagellanTV shared today that two of its free, ad-supported channels are now streaming on IMDb TV. Viewers in the U.S. can now watch the True Crime Now and Voyager channels for free via the IMDb TV app on Fire TV or within the Prime Video app.
The channels landed on IMDb TV in the U.K late last year.
True Crime Now is a channel of curated content from the MagellanTV team. The channel features over 1,000 true crime documentaries and series, with new content added weekly. The channel’s robust catalog explores everything from notorious serial killers and cult leaders to the worlds of criminal psychology, organized crime, the paranormal, and more. Look for titles like Crime Files with David Wilson; A Shallow Grave: A True Crime Mystery; Undercover Asia; Double Murder: The Inside Story; The Suspects; Cybercrimes With Ben Hammersley; Psychic Investigators; The Family Who Vanished; The Monster Among Us; and Unsolved: The Story of the Cape Ripper; and more.
Voyager is a channel for history buffs, science enthusiasts, and nature lovers. On Voyager, viers will find documentaries and series that will take them around the world and into space, exploring the universe and highlighting turning points throughout history.
“The content available on True Crime Now and Voyager encompasses some of the most sought-after genres on MagellanTV,” said Greg Diefenbach, MagellanTV’s Managing Director. “We have an incredibly deep, and growing, library of true crime, history, science and nature films and series, and we’re ecstatic to be able to offer IMDb TV users carefully curated programming lineups, sourced from these beloved genres.”
