Amazon’s free streaming service IMDb TV may be expanding internationally. Although Amazon has not made an official announcement or confirmation, Protocol reports sources involved in the company’s plans have confirmed the streamer is set to expand into new markets including Mexico and the UK as earlier as the end of this year.

More proof of Amazon’s plans to expand the streamer’s reach comes from a LinkedIn job posting from two weeks ago searching for a Principal Product Manager, International Expansion – IMDb TV. It definitely sounds like the free streaming service has big moves planned.

IMDb TV was originally set to launch in Europe sometime in 2019, the same year of its US launch, but that never happened. The streaming service first launched in 2019 as IMDb Freedive, and later rebranded to IMDb TV in May of that year.
