Since launching 2 years ago, Disney+ has shot into popularity as a staple in viewers’ streaming arsenals, mostly thanks to the nostalgic draw of classic animated favorites. The streaming service is celebrating Disney+ Day this Friday, November 12 with a host of new content and promotions, including offering new and eligible returning subscribers a month of Disney+ for just $1.99.

In honor of the special day, FinanceBuzz has compiled a list of every favorite Disney Movie by state, to determine the most popular title on the streaming service. Any guesses as to what it is?

There was a wide range of titles that made the list among 50 states, including tales as old as time like Pinocchio (Nevada), Live Action classics like The Shaggy Dog (Georgia), and popular go-to’s with award winning music like Frozen (Nebraska). But as it turns out, The Lion King (1994) and its live action remake (2019) tied for the most popular movie overall, winning the top spot in four states each.

Between the Hakuna Matata lifestyle, Elton John soundtrack, and story led by African jungle animals that’s just irresistible, according to the report based on Google Trends data. Toy Story was next in popularity, as a favorite among Texas, California, and Pennsylvanians.

You can stream all of these popular titles and more on Disney+ for just $1.99.
