Do you use Locast to stream your locals for free? Right now it looks like Locast is down in many markets. Multiple readers have reported that when they try to load Locast it gets stuck on fetching location. For mow, it seems like there is no way to get around the fetching location to watch your show on Locast.

Cord Cutters News has reached out to Locast for comment and will post an update as we learn more.

So what is Locast?

Locast is a live TV streaming service that launched back in January in New York City to offer access to 15 stations including ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. Recently Locast expanded into a 7th market with the addition of Washington DC. and Baltimore. Don’t look for Locast to stop there according to the people behind the service they plan to keep expanding into other markets later this year. With Locast you can stream ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC among others for free in Denver, Washington DC., Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, and New York.

Recently  Locast has rolled out an Apple TV, Fire TV, and Roku app letting you stream locals for free. This comes just a few days after Locast added support for Android TV meaning you can now watch Locast on the Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV. You can add Locast to your Apple TV HERE.
