Today is the real kickoff of CES 2018, and some of the biggest names in cord cutting will be holding press conferences.

So here are a few companies to watch today as CES 2018 gets started. (Note: Cord Cutters News will be at all of these events.)

LG

Today at 8 AM PST LG will be holding a press event. From all reports the main announcements will be new TVs.

Panasonic

At 10 AM PST Panasonic will be holding a press event. Keep an eye on this especially if you are interested in what smart TV OS they will be using in 2018.

Hisense

This is the first really interesting press event for cord cutters at 10 AM PST. Look for this to be our first look at the new Roku TVs coming out in 2018. Hisense has been working with Roku for some time now and watch for them to push a new line of Roku TVs.

TCL

This is a real big event for cord cutters with the new Roku Connect devices said to be announced during the 1 PM PST press event. Also look for new Roku TVs from TCL.

Sony

At 5 PM PST Sony will be holding the CES keynote. This keynote now rotates between different companies. Last year Nvidia gave the keynote and announced the second gen Nvidia Shield.

It will be interesting to see if Sony will talk about PlayStation Vue during the keynote.

Pepcom

At the end of the day there is an event from Pepcom that will give press time to go hands on with the latest tech that is being announced at CES. Keep an eye out on Tuesday morning for videos from Pepcom 2018.
