Get ready for Demo Day Launch Day! Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network officially launches Thursday, July 15 after months of built-up anticipation and a previous postponement. With the digital launch, more Magnolia content will make its way to the Discovery+ lineup with an expanded slate of Magnolia originals available to stream on the platform. Additionally, the Gaines’ will also launch the Magnolia app which will include original series and over 150 hours of unscripted content about home, food, gardening, design, entrepreneurship and the arts.

In January 2022, the DIY Network will rebrand to become Magnolia Network. The channel will include Magnolia Original content including the first seasons of the Gaines’ new show Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, plus new series Growing Floret, The Lost Kitchen, Homegrown, Family Dinner and Restoration Road with Clint Harp, along with the complete Fixer Upper library that made the power couple household names. There will also be new seasons of DIY Network shows, and more content from DIY series.

The Magnolia Network was originally set to launch last summer but had to be put on pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Network took that time to fill out the programming slate and gear up for an even more robust launch in 2021.

“As sad as we are collectively for the year that we’ve all experienced together, we’re thankful in a lot of ways that it gave us a little time out,” Chip Gaines said. “It felt like there was a little pause that gave us the ability to really fill in lots of blanks, and we just could not be more excited about the talent and the production companies that have poured their hearts and souls into so many of these shows and just how proud we are.”

Discovery+ subscribers will be able to stream content for free on the Magnolia App, as well as on Discovery+ which costs $4.99/month.
