MLB has quietly removed its app from third-generation Apple TVs. The 8-year-old devices are no longer enough to stream the app, instead, you’ll need an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K. 9to5 Mac first spotted the change.

The MLB app is the Apple TV’s latest casualty after the fruit announced YouTube TV and CBS All Access support are both being axed from the devices. Third Generation Apple TVs will no longer be able to support the app as it rebrands into Paramount+ this spring.

Users streaming YouTube on old Apple TV boxes will also have to find another way to watch since the devices are losing support for the YouTube app this month. The 3rd Generation devices released in 2012 will soon no longer be compatible with the YouTube app. Instead, you’ll need to use airplay if you want to stream on your TV.
