Back in January at CES Mohu announced a new AirWave antenna that would add Wi-Fi to its popular antenna line. Now with the AirWave you can stream your antenna to any Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more without the need for wires.

Mohu had recently announced plans to release the AirWave this weekend at Best Buy. Now that release has been delayed.

The following is a statement from Mohu:

AirWave Update: We’re conducting extensive user testing with both the app and the device, during which we have discovered optimizations for improved usability that we are implementing prior to launch. We will launch AirWave as soon as possible, sometime in early fall.

Wi-Fi built into your antenna or devices that makes your antenna a Wi-Fi-enabled device seems to be the future of antennas. Often Americans place their TVs in locations that are far from optimal for their antennas. Now you can put your antenna in the location that is best for the antenna and use your Wi-Fi system to stream it to your TV.

No date has been set for when the AirWave will hit markets but when it does it will first come to Best Buy.
