Yup Mohu is turning the cable boxes against cable by turning them into antennas. Could you think of a better use for your old cable box? These Mohu ReLeaf are very similar to the very popular Mohu Leaf with a flat antenna look.

The timing for this could not have been better because the FCC is putting the nail in the monopoly many cable companies have over cable boxes. You will soon see millions of these boxes headed for the trash. Hopefully, before that happens, many of them will be recycled into something useful like these new Mohu antennas.

Mohu clearly is trying to make a statement with these antennas to show how quickly people are moving away from cable TV and back to antennas and online streaming. In 2015 cord cutting saw a massive jump as four times the number of people left cable TV compared to 2014.

Yet we are only just now seeing the start of the cord cutting revolution and the start of throwing the old cable TV junk in the trash.

You will be able to buy the Mohu ReLeaf later this month for $50.
