Right now, it looks like most DIRECTV NOW promos have ended or will soon end. There are a few still out there like the free Roku Stick if you prepay for 1 month of DIRECTV NOW; however, that deal and others could end at any time.
It seems like AT&T is winding down their efforts to buy subscribers to DIRECTV NOW through crazy good deals. Now it seems AT&T is moving into more of a profit phase instead of spending like mad to get as many subscribers as possible.
The question now is what will this do to their subscriber growth. Promotional offers for an Apple TV and 3 months of DIRECTV NOW for $10 have propelled DIRECTV NOW to huge subscriber growth. If they keep that rate up by the end of 2018 they would be the largest live TV streaming service. Now with these deals coming to an end we will have to see If DIRECTV NOW can keep up with the strong subscriber growth.
