Nielsen’s top ten list for the week ending October 10 has some interesting data behind it, including the fact that most of the viewership demographic skews female. In fact, out of the top streaming titles overall, only two programs skew with a male audience: Black Widow on Disney+ which was the top movie of the week, and Netflix’s Dave Chappelle: The Closer which was among the most-watched original titles.

Looking at the big picture, Netflix’s English version of Squid Game still dominated the chart clocking over 3 billion minutes of streaming time again this week, followed by Maid which nearly crossed the 2 billion mark. On My Block ranked third with 776 million minutes, with Disney+’ Black Widow making fifth now that it’s out from behind a paywall. Aside from Netflix and Disney+, Apple TV+ was the only other streamer to make the top ten overall with Ted Lasso at No. 9.

In Originals, The Great British Baking Show also made the cut this week, followed by the previously mentioned Dave Chappelle stand up special. Lucifer and Sex Education on Netflix were also ranked, along with Hulu‘s Only Murders in the Building starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

Babies and toddlers everywhere must still be loving CoComelon as the cartoon was the top acquired title for the week with 626 million minutes of viewing time, and the classic sitcom Seinfeld ranked second after recently moving to Netflix. Good Witch and Supernatural also made the list, most likely thanks to the Halloween season.

And finally, in movies, Black Widow was the most-watched film as previously mentioned, followed by Netflix’s thriller The Guilty, and Titanic from 1997 which hit Netflix on October 1. Hocus Pocus and There’s Someone Inside Your House were spooky hits, and viewers have already started Christmas season viewing with The Holiday at No. 9.
