Cutting the cable connection to coax connector illustrating retired people cancelling cable TV service

Cutting the cable connection to coax connector illustrating retired people cancelling cable TV serviceCord cutting can be confusing, and both new and old cord cutters often find themselves looking for help. Now Cord Cutters News has a new way to help you with your cord cutting questions.

Today we are launching a new Q&A system on our site. Now anyone can ask a question of the millions of cord cutters who visit Cord Cutters News every year. This is part of our dedication to helping you become a cord cutter and getting the most out of your cord cutting experience.

So how does this new Q&A system work?

At the top of the site, you will now find an Ask a Question button. There, you will be able to post a question or answer questions posted by others. You can also vote answers up and down making it easy for people to see what the community as a whole thinks is the correct answer. Now I will not be answering every question asked. The dream is to have our readers also help answer these questions.

My dream is that this new Q&A system will help millions of people get the answers they need to break free from the high cost of cable TV.

Signing Up

You will need to create a free account to post or answer a question. If you do not have an account, when you see the login page you will find a Register button just under where you enter your username and password.

If you have an account on our forums you will need to make a new account. Sadly, we are unable to move accounts over.

Important

All submitted questions will be screened before going live on the site. Questions that ask or promote piracy will not be approved. (This will also keep spam down.)

If your question is not showing up on the site just wait. We will get it live shortly.

Final Notes

I hope this new system will turn into a great source of information. We included the ability to search for questions you may have. Hopefully, in the weeks and months to come, we can build a large catalog of help for people to search.

You may have also noticed that the Q&A system replaced the forums on the site. We plan to have the new Q&A system replace the forums because we find most people used them to ask questions. This new system will be a huge improvement over the old forums.

In about a week we will be shutting down the forums. If you want to save anything from the forums, so it now because they will not be moved over to the new system.
