In just over a week, Cord Cutters News will be moderating a panel to talk about OTT (cord cutting) at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festivals in Austin, Texas.
The panel was brought together by Hulu, and Cord Cutters News was excited to have Luke Bouma, the owner of Cord Cutters News, invited to moderate the panel.
During the panel we will be talking about:
Streaming has disrupted the TV industry and redefined the way we consume entertainment. In fact, recent studies show that 4 in 10 TV consumers with broadband use 2 or more streaming apps. Is original on-demand content or live streaming TV the way of the future? Or is it a medley of the 2?
SPEAKERS
- Richard Irving, vice president, product management, Hulu
- Christian Oestlien, director of product management, YouTube TV
- Kathy Payne, head of content acquisition for Amazon Channels, Amazon
Now you have an opportunity to get a question answered during the panel. I am looking for suggestions on what questions to ask the panel. If you have a question, post it in the comments here. I will pick a handful of comments and do my best to ask as many as I can.
If you are interested in attending the panel, it will be held on March 11, 2018, at 2 PM PST. You can learn more about the event on the SXSW website.
