Netflix has a new hit original movie called Bird Box with 45 million subscribers watching the movie in the first week after it was released. Now it looks like the hit movie staring Sandra Bullock has created a new online challenge that has Netflix worried.

In the movie, the only way to survey is to be blind or blindfolded. So the lead stars wear blindfolds when they have to be outside. Now many are blindfolding themselves and venturing outside to post videos of it on YouTube.

Now Netflix has posted asking that people please stop doing the Bird Box Challenge. In a tweet on their official account Netflix posted “Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.”

So be careful out there and as always don’t do this at home…
