Breaking Bad Walter and Jesse

If you’re re-watching AMC’s Breaking Bad on Netflix in preparation for the return of Jesse Pinkman, Netflix has a surprise for you. The trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie now plays at the end of the final Breaking Bad episode on the streaming site. Now you can seamlessly transition from series to movie without feeling like you skipped a beat.

The highly anticipated Netflix original El Camino will first make it’s debut on Netflix at midnight PT on October 11, and will also be in select theaters one weekend only from October 11-13. The film will also air on AMC at some point. Netflix dropped the trailer earlier this week, and we can’t wait for what’s in store.

The film continues where we left Jesse Pinkman in the last episode of Breaking Bad, picking up the pieces of his life after escaping the Neo-Nazi’s. Netflix did a great job at keeping the secret filming under wraps for a long time, and the movie’s existence wasn’t even confirmed until November 2018.

Netflix has released three films in theaters prior to this. The movies include director Alfonso Cuarón’s Roma, a six-part Western called The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and Bird Box, starring Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson.
