On Wednesday, Netflix announced it would be releasing Father of the Bride Part 3 (ish) on the streamer’s official Facebook and YouTube channel to support World Central Kitchen. Now Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the premiere that will air on September 25th.

The Banks Family is back together, and this doesn’t look like it will just be the cast members taking a stroll down memory lane. While the teaser just features nostalgic footage from the original Father of the Bride movie, we can hear Nina Banks aka Diane Keaton calling George to come in for a phone call, to which he responds he’s just washing his hands. How appropriate for 2020.

It’s likely this will be set up as a zoom call where the original actors are stepping back into character to read some lines. Either way, the trailer confirms the following cast members will be present: Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Kieran Culkin, George Newbern, “and a few special guests.”

Father of the Bride Part 3 (ish) is written and directed by Nancy Meyers, and will air live on the official Netflix Facebook Page and YouTube channel September 25 at 3pm PT/6pm ET.

The reunion special is to raise awareness for the World Central Kitchen, an organization working to deliver food to people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can learn more about WCK here.
