Ever wish you could quickly and easily replay a scene as you stream Netflix? Netflix is testing a new pop-up notification asking if a user wants to replay a scene that just concluded. For now, this only works for Netflix originals and a small test group of subscribers.
If you are a lucky tester, you will find this option when you bring up the standard time bar at the bottom of the screen. Netflix hopes that this new option will make it easier to rewatch an important moment or catch something you missed.
In a statement sent to the Los Angeles Times Netflix said this feature is not live for everyone right now.
“We’re trying out a feature which gives Netflix members the ability to rewatch favorite scenes and memorable moments with the click of a button,” a Netflix spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times. “Right now, we’re just looking to learn from it and may or may not roll it out more broadly in the future.”
