NFL Sunday Ticket has been a major source of subscriber growth for DIRECTV for over 25 years. With DIRECTV steadily losing subscribers, AT&T is now loosening the restrictions on who can purchase an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription. You don’t need to be a DIRECTV customer to subscribe to the service, but there are some eligibility requirements you’ll need to meet.
What is NFL Sunday Ticket?
This is a service that allows customers to view every live, out of market game, every Sunday.
How to Watch NFL Sunday Ticket
The service is available as an add on to DIRECTV satellite TV subscriptions. Because DIRECTV isn’t available everywhere, some non-subscribers can also purchase an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription without DIRECTV, but those customers need to meet a few requirements.
How to Subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket Without DIRECTV
According to the NFL Sunday Ticket website, the service is only available to non-DIRECTV customers who:
- live in select multi-dwelling unit buildings (apartments, condos, etc.,) nationwide in the U.S. where DIRECTV service is not available
- live in select areas within various metropolitan cities
- live in a residence that has been verified as unable to receive DIRECTV satellite TV service due to obstructions blocking access to satellite signals
- are college students
Visit the NFL Sunday Ticket website to see if you’re eligible.
