Peacock is Expanding its Documentary Library with Three New Originals

Peacock hit the green light on three new documentaries heading to the platform. Diamond PrincessPerfect World: The Gamer Murders, and Downey Wrote That (all working titles) are next up on the docket.

Diamond Princess is the real life story of hundreds of passengers stuck on board the Princess cruise ship during the Covid-19 outbreak. The doc will feature cell phone footage and first-hand stories from the passengers.

Downey Wrote That is an original documentary on Jim Downey, an influential writer for Saturday Night Live. The doc will go through some of his best sketches and lasting impact on the show and comedy in general.

Lastly, Perfect World: The Gamer Murders is a three-part docuseries about international gamer friends who are trying to find out who the killer is in a bizarre murder mystery,
