NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock, has reached 35 million signups. That number is up from the 33 million sign ups NBCUniversal reported during its Q4 call.

NBCUniversal shared the updated subscriber numbers in an advertiser event Monday, CNET reported.

Once again, it’s important to note that Peacock has a free tier along with its premium paid tier. The company hasn’t shared how many of its users are watching with the free tier and how many are paying for a monthly subscription.

Peacock launched in July 2020 as a competitor to Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max. The streaming service set itself apart by offering a free tier with limited content, along with the premium tier for full access to the content library.

Since launching, Peacock has gained viewers by adding The Office and extras for fans, launching on Roku which added 7 million users, and adding WWE content with a special deal for fans to save 50% on a subscription.
