What’s Changed?

Philo has added a few channels to their lineup to give viewers even more entertainment for their monthly subscription cost. You’ll now find the following channels in the Philo lineup:

  • Cheddar Big News
  • Hallmark channels, including Hallmark, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Motor Trend
  • MTV Classic with shows from the 80s and 90s
  • Paramount
  • People TV
  • Tastemade

In addition to the extra channels, Philo has been making changes to help their subscribers better enjoy their viewing experience. Philo is also working on a co-viewing feature, Philo users will someday be able toshare a link with friends and family, inviting them to watch together from their own location. Philo has also been updating their app to be more user friendly on different devices. You’ll notice it’s easier to customize your home screen and find your favorite channels when you log in.

In our last update, we shared AT&T’s plan to add more package options with additional channels. We’re still waiting for those new options to be introduced, so for now, AT&T Watch only has one subscription package.

While the two streaming services are comparable, Philo has been making more of an effort to continuing improving by both growing its channel list and adding features. However, AT&T Watch TV is still a great deal for current AT&T Unlimited & More customers who have access to the service for no additional cost.
