If you are a fan of Amazon’s Alexa service we have good news for you. Today new images of a 3rd gen Amazon Echo Dot have leaked online. The photos first showed up on FrAndrodi and Numerama and give us a hint into what we can expect from the Echo Dots.

From the looks of it, they are very similar to the second gen Echos. They have added a fabric side that will likely come in multiple colors. They are also slightly larger as it is reported that they will have a better speaker in them than the 2nd gen Echo Dot. Along the top, there are still the standard four buttons for volume, mute, and an action button.

Here is what the new Echo Dots look like:

Detail are still very thin and we do not know when Amazon plans to release the new Echo Dots. From the looks of it, we are likely looking at a fall 2018 launch. With that said it is very possible that it could be delayed for as long as a possible early 2019 launch date. Though a fall 2018 launch just in time for the Christmas shopping season seems very likely.
