Last week we reported that PlayStation Vue had started to add more NBC affiliates. Now it looks like PlayStation Vue added more NBC affiliates over just the last few days.
Sony has yet to make any announcement about the new NBC affiliates on PlayStation Vue, but several readers have contacted Cord Cutters News to let us know even more NBC affiliates have been added.
Just in the last few days WOAI in San Antonio, Texas and WSMV in Nashville, Tennessee were added. As best we can tell about 10 NBC affiliates have been added to PlayStation Vue so far in November 2017.
In the past PlayStation Vue would wait until they had a group of 10 or so locals ready to go live and release them as a group. More recently Sony has been rolling out locals as they are ready. This is resulting in a few here and a few there being added.
Sony has declined to offer a list of NBC affiliates that have been added and did not reply to our recent emails about new locals. The last time PlayStation Vue released a full list of locals was in December 2016.
As best we can tell this should put PlayStation Vue at over 200 live locals, but we cannot confirm the exact number of locals at this time.
