It looks like PlayStation Vue has added a dedicated Adult Swim Channel to their guide. Today Cord Cutters News readers pointed out that Adult Swim now has their own channel listing in the guide. Currently, the listing is blank even when Adult Swim typically airs on Cartoon Network. Though if you search for Adult Swim you will find a lot of new on-demand content added for PlayStation Vue subscribers.
Update: Turner reached out to Cord Cutters News today to let us know that this will not be a dedicated 24/7 Adult Swim Channel. According to Turner the parent company behind Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, PlayStation Vue has created a separate listing for Adult Swim to breakout the Cartoon Network kids programming from the Adult Swim programming in their video on demand offerings. This likely points to the inclusion of Adult Swim in the guide as a possible mistake. (Sony has not replied to our emails about the new Adult Swim listing in the guide.)
When you search for the channel you will find it says NOW PLAYING even when there is nothing live on Adult Swim. You can find this new channel in your guide or by searching for Adult Swim in the PlayStation Vue search.
You will find additional on-demand content from shows like Squidbillies, Family Guy, American Dad, King of The Hill, and more.
We have reached out to Sony for comment and will update this story if we learn more.
