PlayStation Vue Adds Roku Single Sign-On Support

This may be news some of you know, but some time ago PlayStation Vue quietly added support for Roku’s single sign-on. Over the weekend several readers reached out to let Cord Cutters News know that PlayStation Vue now supports Roku’s single sign-on. Cord Cutters News went on to confirm that yes PlayStation Vue does now support Roku single sign-on.

Roku single sign-on will automatically sign you into supported apps like NBC and FOX network apps. This means if you log into PlayStation Vue on a supported single sign-on app like AMC, it will also log you into supported Roku Channels like the FOX Now Channel.

YouTube TV was the first live TV streaming service to offer this feature. We are not exactly sure when this new PlayStation Vue single sign-on support was added. Both Roku and Sony made no announcement. Roku has also not updated the list of supported services since the Roku single sign-on was first added.

According to Roku, here are all the Roku Channels that support single sign-on:

  • A&E
  • AMC
  • BBC America
  • BET
  • Bravo Now
