Are you subscribe to PlayStation Vue? Well you may soon be one of the lucky subscribers to get a free upgrade to PlayStation Vue Elite.
PlayStation Vue has randomly been selecting subscribers to Access Slim and Core Slim to get an upgrade to the $44.99 a month Elite Slim plan that includes 90-plus HD channels. The deal is good for 6 days and will cost subscribers nothing. After the 6 days upgrade ends, their accounts will automatically be returned to the plan they had before the free upgrade.
This is not the first time Sony has been giving away free PlayStation Vue upgrades to subscribers. Yet in the past this deal was for 3 months now it seems Sony is only offering 6 days to try out Elite Slim.
Users are being notified of the upgrade by a email. Cord Cutters News did contacted Sony for comment, but Sony never replied to our request for comment. So we do not know why suddenly it is once again sending out the free upgrades. Though the timing could be an effort to fight off new entries in the market, DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, Charter, CenturyLink, and YouTube TV along with older ones like Sling TV.
While we may not know why, if you are one of the lucky subscribers to get the upgrade you can now enjoy a free taste of Elite Slim.
