Bad news for PlayStation Vue subscribers. Later today PlayStation Vue will be dropping the NESN regional sports network from their lineup. This means tonight’s game 5 of the NHL playoffs will not be available with PlayStation Vue.

Update: We can now confirm that NESN is now dark on PlayStation Vue. Sony has not reposted to our email requesting comment on NESN and PlayStation Vue.

According to NESN they offered a 21-day extension but PlayStation Vue declined the offer. Here is a tweet from NESN about the current situation with PlayStation Vue:

The good news is you can get a free trial of YouTube TV and fuboTV to keep access to NESN. (Did I miss a live TV streaming service that offers NESN? Please leave us a comment and let us know of the legal options to access NESN.

This is breaking news we will post more as we learn more.

Update: NESN reached out to Cord Cutters News to say the tweet saying NESN offered a 30-day extension was in error. NESN offered a 21-day extension to PlayStation Vue.
