Are you a current PlayStation Vue subscriber? Right now you may be able to get 30% off a New Roku Ultra. Last night Sony started to email some subscribers a special offer to get a 2018 Roku Ultra 30% off. Now this is not all PlayStation Vue subscribers and we are not sure how Sony is picking subscribers to get the deal but some are getting emails with a special code for 30% off.
It is very likely that Sony is trying to get owners of older Roku devices to upgrade. For now, though all we know is that Sony is offering 30% off a Roku Ultra to some subscribers. This deal seems to be tied to Shark Week that starts next week on Discovery. This deal also ends July 29th 2018 so make sure to check your email to see if you got an email from Sony’s PlayStation Vue.
As best we can tell this is a first time Sony has ever offered a device deal like this to PlayStation Vue subscribers. In the past, they have always tried to force people over to PlayStations. Now it seems they are expanding and willing to offer deals on Roku devices.
