One of the more annoying parts of PlayStation Vue was the need to use the PSN Wallet to pay for PlayStation Vue. (Who doesn’t hate the two separate emails first saying funds have been added to your PSN Wallet and the second saying you have paid for PlayStation Vue.) Now Sony has added the ability to use Amazon Wallet to pay for PlayStation Vue.
Sadly, though this option is only open to new PlayStation Vue Customers. Current subscribers will need to continue using PSN Wallet. You will also need a Fire TV to setup Amazon Pay to pay for PlayStation Vue.
How to Use Amazon Pay for PlayStation™Vue Payments
- Start Amazon Fire device
- Log in or create Amazon Account
- Launch PS Vue app
- Enter ZIP Code
- Browse packages eligible to purchase
- Add to Cart
- Proceed to Checkout
- Log in or create PSN account
- Review order with tax
- Make purchase with Amazon Account
- Purchase Confirmation
- Watch PS Vue
The one catch is if you use Amazon Pay to pay for PlayStation Vue you must continue to use Amazon Pay.
