Playstation Vue LogoPlayStation Vue was the first live TV streaming service to offer an unlimited DVR option. (As long as you watched what you recorded before it expired.) But one of the main complaints has been the interface as it often made it difficult to find new recordings or see what would be recorded next. Now Sony has updated PlayStation Vue’s DVR section to address these concerns.

Now on the Apple TV, Fire TV, and Android TV PlayStation Vue app, you will find a new area in your DVR section to show you what is newly recorded to your DVR. You will also find a new upcoming section to show you what will be recorded over the next week. This change makes the PlayStation Vue DVR much more like a traditional DVR compared to the older interface.

For now, we have only confirmed this update on the Apple TV. Typically Sony makes changes like this on a single device and slowly rolls it out to other devices over the following weeks and months.

This change comes as Sony also recently added the 24/7 ABC News channel to PlayStation Vue’s lineup. Now PlayStation Vue subscribers can get ABC News when they want it no matter what time of the day it is.
