PlayStation Vue Will Now Let You Stream Locals on The Go

Yesterday PlayStation Vue had several big announcements. We already focused on the ability to stream regional sports networks Fox Sports and NBC Sports out of market. This happened just in time for the 2018 Major League Baseball season.

That was not all they announced. They also added the ability to stream PlayStation Vue through your phone’s browser. No longer will you need to first install the PlayStation Vue app.

The other major announcement was the ability to stream local stations such as ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC even when you are not home. Now around your hometown at work, the game, or as you are traveling to work you can watch your local affiliate.

The best part is you can even watch locals when you travel across the country. In the past when you left your home and accessed PlayStation Vue out of market you could not watch your local affiliate. Now you can do just that even if you are on the other side of the country.

When out of town youw won’t be able to watch locals form your home town but will have access to any locals that market you are in. Rour DVRed recordings will still record from your local in your home market. This makes PlayStation Vue a much more attractive option for people who often travel.

Would this make you far more willing to subscribe to PlayStation Vue? Leave us a comment and let us know.
