Plex launched its free ad-supported streaming service in July, offering over 80 channels on day one.  Today, the service announced that it will be adding a slate of Spanish language channels to the lineup, including telenovelas, game shows, sitcoms, movies, award-winning series and more.

The new additions to the Plex lineup include the Sony Comedias channel with a Latin twist on classic sitcoms, high drama telenovels, a 24/7 Latin music channel, and reality competitions. You’ll also find Spanish language movie channels airing everything from documentaries to films from Academy Award winning directors.

In addition to these six channels, Plex will be adding 25 more Spanish language options in the coming weeks. With the addition of the new channels, Plex no offers over 100 channels, all for free.
