Pluto TV Is Testing a New Chat Feature

If you have visited Pluto TV’s website recently you may have noticed a new chat feature. Pluto TV has been testing out an optional chat feature that sits next to live streams. Very similar to chat feature on live streams on YouTube or Twitch, this feature allows viewers to chat about what they are watching.

For now, this seems to be in testing because sometimes the feature is available and sometimes it is not. Recently Cord Cutters News was able to confirm this test during a live stream of The Matrix. The feature was an option and could be turned off at any point. If you wanted to you could join the chat or just watch the stream.

Pluto TV has not commented on the new feature, and it is possible chat will never become a permanent feature on their website. It is also important to remember that as of today this feature is only on their website not on the apps for devices like Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV.

Would you like Pluto TV to make this a permanent feature? Leave us a comment and let us know.
