Quibi, short for “quick bites,” is designed to be a service that subscribers will use in their spare time throughout the day. “You leave the house every morning with a little TV in your pocket. In addition to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, the Quibi team has been busy gathering celebrity talent to lead its content. Chrissy Teigen, Reese Witherspoon, Chance the Rapper, and Idris Elba are just a few of the celebs creating content and spreading the word of Quibi on social media. Quibi has also gone through two rounds of fundraising, bringing in a total of $1.75 billion for the platform.
