Redbox announced today that it has signed a deal with Game Show Network to add both game shows and movies to Redbox’s free streaming service.
With the deal, Redbox will be expanding its content library with classic movies from the 70s, and 80s, popular westerns, and classic and brand new game shows.
Here are the new channels coming to the Redbox app:
- Game Show Central: features new classic game shows, including Idiotest, Catch 21, Baggage, and fan-favorite America Says
- Cinevault 80s: movie titles from the 80s like Murphy’s Romance starring Sally Field
- Cinevault 70s: titles from the 70s including The Deep starring Jacqueline Bisset and Nick Nolte
- Cinevault Westerns: features the best shootouts at high noon with Mackenna’s Goldstarring Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif, and Telly Savalas, and They Came to Codura starring Gary Cooper and Rita Hayworth
“Both the Cinevault and Game Show Central channels have fantastic content, which we know will be popular with our viewers, and we’re thrilled we can partner with Game Show Network to bring them to the Free Live TV Service,” said Chris Yates, General Manager, Redbox On Demand. “These four entertainment channels will bring hours of fun for the whole family.”
The Redbox streaming app is available on the web, and on Roku, Chromecast, Xbox, Vizio, Samsung, LG, Android TV, iOS, and Android.
