The imaginary stadium is modelled and rendered. It looks like the NFL’s Thursday Night Football will have a new home this year. According to reports from Bloomberg’s Scott Soshnick and Lucas Shaw NFL Thursday Night Football will move from NBC and CBS to Fox.

Update:

According to the reports the NFL has yet to pick a streaming service for Thursday Night Football. two years ago it was streamed by Twitter and last year Amazon won the rights. This year the rights to stream NFL Thursday Night football are still up for grabs.

Exact terms of the deal to bring the Thursday night games to FOX are unknown but it is reported that they will pay more than $45 million per game. This comes as FOX sells off most of the company to Disney to focus more on sports and news. So maybe it is no surprise that FOX would be willing to spend top dollar to get more sports rights.

According to early reports, FOX is hoping a news and sports focus would help them as the world of pay-TV is changing. Sports and news are events most Americans still watch live making them more valuable when looking at ads sales.
