Review: ClearStream View Antenna from Antenna Direct

With the growth of cord cutting has come a return in popularity of over-the-air TV. Antennas are once again the must-have feature of many American households.

Yet many of them are ugly! Now Antenna Direct wants to take on that issue with the ClearStream View antenna that is an antenna and a picture frame in one.

The ClearStream View antenna is molded into a 14.25 inch × 18.75 inch picture frame that fits standard 12 inch × 16 inch photos. It can display nine photos with a white collage mat, including space for four 3.5 inch × 5.0 inch photos, two 3.5 inch × 4.0 inch photos, two 3.4 inch × 3.5 inch photos, and one 3.5 inch × 5.5 inch photo. The back has slide locks allowing easy access to add and replace photos and a built-in keyhole to hang it horizontally. The ClearStream View includes a USB amplifier that provides additional range and maximum signal reception.

Here is our hands-on review:

Final Thoughts

Antenna Direct claims the antenna has a 50+ mile range. In our testing its reception was consistent with other antennas that claim a 50+ mile range. The ClearStream View seems to be well made and inline with the quality of other Antenna Direct products.

The ClearStream View comes preassembled. All you need to do is hang it on your wall and you are ready to go.

If you want an indoor antenna that is easily disguised this may be the antenna for you. The only downside is the fact that there is a cable that dangles out of it to connect it to your TV. You may want to paint it to match your wall or buy a cable that matches what you have in your home other than the black cable it comes with.

We highly recommend the antenna as an indoor antenna; however, before you buy make sure to visit AntennaRecommendations.com and enter your address to ensure an indoor antenna is the right type of antenna for you.
