Our experience using the K12:

After testing the Mini One as my primary keyboard for the laptop/media center for a few days I was shocked at how well it did. The Mini One charges with a Micro USB cable allowing you to use your phone charger.  The auto shut off greatly extending the battery power and I turned it off at night. Allowing me to not recharge the keyboard during testing.

The range in our testing was about 30ft. At 30 feet we noticed no issues reaching the laptop located behind a couch and heavy TV stand.

To my eye there was no lag between clicking a key and the action on the screen. The was also no issue syncing the function keys like volume and pause/play. We just plugged the keyboard in and it worked.

The Mini One is definitely a keyboard to consider for your home entertainment PC.

Hi I got this remote based on your review of the gbox q; however I am having a difficult time completing some simple task with this keyboard remote. I am trying to terminate some apps that are running in the background on the gbox q in the app switcher, and from what I have found on the Internet it seems that I would need some sort of functionality as a left mouse click to close the apps. Unfortunately I cannot find any material or manual on the Rii i28 mini keyboard that identifies if the keyboard can accomplish a left mouse click function. As a touted HTPC keyboard I would think this type of functionality is included especially since it should work with a pic as well. Any insight you could provide would be appreciated.

Hey RJ you should be able to accomplish a left mouse click by tapping the middle of the touch pad. If you need a right mouse click you press with 2 fingers in the middle of the mouse pad. Hope that helps! After reading this review, I am going to purchase this upgraded model.
