    New devices don’t have OS 7.5 ?

Went out and got a Roku Express thinking it would be better than my first generation Roku 3 and I was very disappointed. Navigation is sluggish, apps like Netflix take a while to start up and the remote has to be pointed directly at the device or it doesn’t work. That plus the lack of ethernet port for a direct connection to my router means I’ll be returning it.

It’s probably good for an occasional user but not for me. Guess you really do get what you pay for.

The Roku Express replaces the Roku 1 in the lineup as the low end model. It is a big step up from the Roku 1. If you want a replacement for a Roku 3 I would look at the Roku Premiere but you wont see a massive upgrade but the 4K addition is nice and it is cheaper than the old 3.

Sounds like the same performance as my roku 1.
