Update: Roku has contacted Cord Cutters News to say they have fixed the server outage and everything should be working now. If you are still having issues please restart your Roku by unplugging it and plugging it back in.

For the last hour, Roku has had server issues preventing some Roku users from adding new Roku Channels to their devices. Roku says they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Currently installed Roku Channels will continue to work without issues just adding new ones seems to be a issue.

Here is a statement Roku posted on their website:

There is an issue impacting Roku accounts which we are working to resolve. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Visitsupport.roku.com for more information.

We are reaching out to Roku for updates and will post an update as we learn more. Please check back for more updates soon.
