roku stick plusGood news for Roku fans, the Roku Stick+ is getting a price cut to just $49.99. Roku says this new price will roll out slowly starting on October 20th at all Roku retailers. This is not a short term sale but a permanent price drop according to Roku. The Roku Stick+ will also get a slightly upgraded Roku remote with a new mute button for your TV in addition to the ability to power on and off your TV and change the volume.

This was first reported by Cnet, but Cord Cutters News has not confirmed the price change and new remote with Roku.

This new price drop will make the Roku Stick+ the same price as the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K helping Roku compete with budget-minded customers.
