Recently Roku added a feature that most Roku TV owners have been begging for… The ability to turn off favorited channels on Roku TV’s OTA tuner for your antenna.

In the past, Roku let you pick the channels you would like to favorite. This would move these channels to the top of the list in the OTA Roku TV guide. Recently though Roku made this automatic by moving the most watched channels to the top of the list automatically. This left many wishing they could at least have an option to remove that feature.

Now Roku has added the ability to turn off auto favorites so the channels will all be in the order of their channel number instead of the most watched being moved to the top. To do this, go into your Settings and select TV Inputs. There you will find an option to turn off Roku TV’s auto favorites.

Hopefully someday Roku also returns the ability to pick what channels you would like to favorite and what channels you would like to skip. For now, its all or nothing you can have favorites on or off but no option to select the channels you want.
