Roku Wireless Speakers features

Below we detail all of the standout features like design, setup, streaming quality, and everything else you’d expect in a Roku Speakers review. Keep reading to find out if the Roku TV speakers will work with your entertainment hub.

Roku Wireless Speakers setup

There are a few things that you should consider before getting started. For one, you’ll need an internet connection, Roku remote, and a power source for each speaker. It’s a good idea to also think of the best place to arrange your wireless speakers. Depending on the layout of your room, you may want to either set your speakers on speaker stands, arrange them on furniture, or mount them on a nearby wall. Just keep in mind that each speaker has a 1/4″ 20-threaded mounting socket on the backside of the device. For the best results, you should evenly space one speaker to the left of your TV and the other to the right.

Since they’re wireless, you won’t need to worry about messy cables. Once your speakers are placed and connected to a power source, pair your speakers to your streaming device. Then, spoken instructions will advise you to put your Roku host device into pairing mode by ensuring that it’s powered on and by pressing the home button (house icon on your remote) for 5 seconds. After that, select your speaker and follow the prompts on your TV screen. If you’re struggling with the setup process, you can troubleshoot with Roku support.

Roku Wireless Speakers design

Roku Wireless Speakers have an unassuming appearance. They’re a chic matte-black shade that works with any kind of interior design scheme. Each speaker is 7.7 inches in height and 4.9 inches wide with a weight of 4 pounds.

Roku Wireless Speakers remote

Roku TV Wireless Speakers come with 2 different remotes. The first is a Voice Remote that’s typically included with higher-end streaming models like Roku Ultra. With the Voice Remote, you can control your TV controls like channels and volume, as well as navigate quickly to your favorite apps and titles by holding down the voice control button (microphone icon) and speaking your preferred destination.

The second is the Roku Touch tabletop remote, which is perfectly suitable for your coffee table. The tabletop remote has simple player controls buttons, volume controls, and a voice button for quick voice-searches. There are also programmable buttons that you can use for 1-click navigation.

Roku Wireless Speakers sound quality

The Roku Bluetooth Speakers produce an immersive, cinematic sound. As two-way bookshelf speakers, the Roku Wireless Speakers use a high-excursion 3.5″ woofer for low frequencies and 0.75″ soft-dome tweeter for high frequencies — and a dual-channel Class D amplifier operates both the woofer and tweeter.

Whether you’re watching that blockbuster that just came out or using Bluetooth to listen to music from one of your devices, Roku’s wireless speakers perform reliably.

Your Roku Wireless Speakers supplies a current between 50 and 60 Hertz. Together, with Roku’s Smart Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer, you can have an impressive 5.1 sound system.

Roku Wireless Speakers content

You can’t actually stream content through the speakers. But if you connect the speakers to your Roku device, you’ll get access to apps like Disney+, ESPN+, and fuboTV

Roku Wireless Speakers streaming quality

There’s no way to stream content solely with Roku Wireless Speakers. So, streaming quality depends on the streaming device that you’re using. For instance, Roku Express supports up to 1080p, whereas Roku Streaming Stick Plus is capable of streaming 4K ultra-high-definition (UHD) resolution.

Roku Wireless Speakers Bluetooth Connectivity

You can connect to your Roku streaming player with Bluetooth-compatible devices. These include Android or iOS devices, such as computers, smartphones, and tablets. Your Roku Wireless Speakers will play the audio from your device as long as your speakers are paired with your streaming player.

The final cut

Roku Wireless Speakers might be the answer if you’re someone who already uses a Roku streaming device. As part of the Roku ecosystem, Roku’s wireless speakers work harmoniously with Roku’s other audio devices, like its soundbar and subwoofer, which in turn dishes out 5.1 surround sound.

Do you have another streaming device but are interested in Roku Wireless Speakers? Unfortunately, Roku Wireless Speakers are only compatible with a Roku host device.
